Contemporary
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
Jazz
Classes emphasize rhythm, coordination, strength, flexibility, and isolation of movement. With an emphasis on technique and systematic training, dancers are exposed to a multitude of styles and flavors of jazz dance movement.
Ballet
The foundation for all dance forms, ballet is a classical dance form that develops grace, poise, posture, balance, and control. Classes consist of barre work, centre practice, adage and allegro as well as pointe work for the major students. This is to insure they learn the technique necessary to be successful dance.
